Pattern Design

I focused on depth within my pattern with background, middle-ground, and foreground play with both the physical layering of patterns and textures, as well as with color and shadow. I like how physically-created artwork and digitally created designs can play together to create depth and texture interest within a pattern. My pattern is intended for wallpaper, but could be applied to other various substrates as well including clothes, stationery, and more. You can see process work here.
